Whispers Of The Heart

I gazed at the sky, finding a new path,

Reflecting on self, confidence awaits.

In a whisper, I say, 'Take it easy.'

I know myself; I must finish what's left,

Consolidate my heart, open my lips,

Unspoken feelings must find a voice,

Before I embark on a new journey.

A heavy weight in my heart must stay behind,

Not carried into the future's embrace.

Close the old, follow the new,

Open my heart to her.

Not seeking answers, just easing my soul,

For a bitter path follows a crude life.

Without confidence, inner demons may feast,

So I must confess:

I like you,

I love you.
