Fading Luminescence

Sun that once shone bright,

Moon and stars in radiant light,

Yet, as a rising sun, I started to fade,

Awakening with a heart heavy, emotions laid.

A cry within as chaos unfolds,

Into a mess, my path is now strolled.

The wind whispers fears and emotion

In front, a canvas tainted with negative devotion.

The light within me quivers, unsure,

Knowing I must depart, yet hope endures.

Morning at the office, a manager's yell

Deadliest deadlines, a routine as shadows dwell.
