When They Met....

She came down to give relief,  

Her touch more than enough

To bring parched surfaces to life.

She came gushing down

And sent waves of good life around.

She brought smiles of light, 

And her arrival was announced by

Thunderous laughter of the sky. 

When she meets her soulmate, 

They get soaked into each other

And tell themselves, 

'Oh, it's been so long. I've longed so much for you.'

She replies, 

'My father was too upset and just wouldn't let me meet you. I convinced him so much and here I am with you.'
