What is a Living Thing?

What is a Living Thing?

It is the living thing that can stay ever in the present

And exhibit its reality, which is perceived moment by moment,

The mind can never catch up with the reality whatsoever

Since the thoughts have a tendency to corrupt the reality forever.

How can the living thing continue to live in the present always

When its reality can last for a moment and must change its ways?

What may continue is a dead thing, which is nothing but the past

And hence the living thing must transform moment after moment.

The reality of a living

thing is just a matter of momentary perception

And it is either the one ever-changing or the past that is in continuation,

The ‘self’, which is also a living thing may continue everlastingly

Unless it understands its ways totally and transforms itself radically.

So, what must be the true nature of an entity to be truly living?

Can it be such that the entity may be perceived simply as existing?

An entity that has its birth and death may not be a truly living thing

But it is rather the one that dies moment after moment and is renewing.
