When the Mind and Heart Meet

When two hearts meet, the two minds may find harmony

As the minds suddenly become ready to find some semblance

Of mutual trust and respect, which was hitherto uncanny

And the minds may even try to forego all the differences;

When the two minds meet, the two hearts may get broken

As the hearts may get a feeling of being suddenly emptied

For, the minds may render the relationships soon forgotten

By spewing hatred and jealousy with the faces turning red.

But when one’s own heart and mind together meet

There may be an onset of inner peace and harmony, 

The mind may become utterly silent to listen to the heart

Allowing it to spread love and compassion to many.
