My tummy was a lion sounding,

My heart like a near pounding.

I quietly crept around like a mouse,

Tired of going around my house.

Then I came across a cake,

Its companion was a shake.

I got tempted as I came,

It was, as usual, all the same.

Finally, the rumbling stopped, 

And my happy instincts hopped.

At last, I slumped down to bed, 

'Nighty, night' my mind said...
