We were...(part II) together forever
We were...(part II) together forever
I never thought I would recover,
But the angels sent him,
Like sunshine, a ray of hope,
To warm up my frozen soul.
They said he was the Death God,
But he was my second chance to live.
He shed light on my path
And he alleviated my shattered heart.
I tried to open my soul to allow him to comfort me,
But he refused, always reminding me
That he wasn’t worth it; he was the Death God.
He was nothing more.
I was lost in his eyes when I kissed him.
His astonished, but kind look helped me
Understand his part in my life:
He was my own “guardian angel’’
He wanted more, but he all he could share
Was a damned, immortal love.
That was when I gave up everything for it.
I was into him and nothing else mattered.
