Tragedy

Until we meet again

Until we meet again

2 mins
312

Please do not stand over my grave and mourn,

For I am not there I am living because you are living,

Eternally, In your heart, your head and your soul

I will never ever leave you,

I will live on through you and continue to exist.

The emotions are so raw but will pass with time,

Unlike the memories we share that will never ever fade I am here,

I am in your heart, carry me wherever you may go.

Let my tears from heaven be the rain that falls upon your face,

Let my beaming smile be the sun that dry’s away those tears,

Let my breath be the cold air you feel on a winter’s day,

And the warmth of my pride wraps you up,

Hold you, consume you and cradles you safely

Please do not cry because I am not here,

Smile because I lived,

When you look down and see only one set of footprints in the sand,

Know that they are mine

And I am carrying you, my child,

Laugh like you’ve never laughed before.

As the amazing times, we had replayed in your dreams

The challenges we overcame and the goals we achieved, can never be undone.

Our adventure was one that will never be forgotten, our bond was unrivalled

As you gaze up at the midnight sky and reminisce with the stars

Be proud of ‘us’ because no one can ever take away what we have,

and nothing will ever surpass the special bond we created.

I love you, I cherish you

You’re my blood, my family, my friend

Goodbye is never goodbye,

It’s until we meet again…
