UNSEEN BLESSINGS1 min 182 1 min 182
Keep all your senses wide open,
Intangible blessings might flow into you.
Good things passing by your eyes are numerous,
And immeasurable things go unseen and neglected.
Look up to a little child;
She may not be a child prodigy
Or an inexhaustible vessel of experience,
But she can offer you her childhood innocence.
Look up to an old monk;
He may have nothing charming,
Neither flashy attire nor appealing appearance,
But he can offer the secrets for a happy life.
Look up to your father;
His countenance contrasts his heart,
His rugged hands and outlook may not be appealing,
But he can teach you invincible willpower.
Look up to your mother;
She may appear frail and timid,
She may not match your modern notions,
But her prayers will accompany you everywhere.
Look around at nature;
None hail her boons, even if apparent.
She may not be a matter of your concern,
But if you care about her, longevity will be your reward.
