Guru Teg Bahadur's sacrifice is unique indeed
In the whole history of religions and mankind
He laid down his with empathy to save the religion
He never followed but was followed by others
His followers were martyred to make him irresolute
But even these failed in every respect to intimidate
Three of his followers accompanied him till the day
Were sacrificed before his eyes in a painful way
On 8th November
, 1675 in Chandni chawk, Dehli
Bhai Mati Das was very painfully sawed into two
On 9th November 1675, Bhai Sati Das was
Wrapped in cotton and then burned to death
On 10th November, Bhai Dayala was boiled alive
In hot boiling water in a pan at Chandni chowk
On 11th November Guru Teg Bahadur was eventually beheaded in Chandni Chowk
Auspicious mark on the forehead of Hindus
And their scared thread was thus saved
