Unbreakable Spirit

In an upsetting, unpleasant place,

A yearning for my dear birthplace,

As raindrops fall on my tarp's surface,

And memories of home begin to race. 

My heart may ache, my soul may tire,

I'll strive with a burning desire.

For within each challenge lies a seed,

A chance to breathe, grow and succeed.
