A Blind Student
A Blind Student
Blind Student, with the boundless ocean near,
Each creature has the chance to roam and sway,
The birds soar high, without a shred of fear,
But I, alas, am chained to darkness' way.
Each student has a chance to make their mark,
And live their lives in happiness and light,
While I'm denied this chance, left in the dark,
My dreams are stifled, bound in endless nights.
Why can't I have the same rights as the rest,
To shine as brightly as my fellow peers?
Why are my hopes and aspirations prest,
Pressed down by fears and left to drown in tears?
Though sight may be denied, my soul still yearns,
To live a life where I can take firm turns.
