Trying

 

Modern miracles taking place all over the world,

Wrecks have arrived to conquer my world.

Unsatisfied I am, for the sake of my mother crying,

Oh God! Believe me, I am trying.

 

Not more than this can the world suffer,

But believe me, much more have I had to suffer.

No one to talk, no one I have for leaning on and sighing,

Oh God! Believe me, I am trying.

 

The fickleness of the already narrow – minded public,

Increasing with every next moment making me sick.

Becoming a victim to this has never been more saddening,

Oh God! Believe me, I am trying.

 

Thousands of problems for day-to-day life,

Be it me, be it you, be it God’s wife!

Life has never been more stressing,

Oh God! Believe me, I am trying.

 

Everything has a solution if we try

So be it, let me try.

Many solutions I found, other than to cry.

Oh God! Believe me? I did try.
