I look at the sky

history running fast

The rejections that made me strong

The accepted alterations

The silent celebrations

The unkempt promises

The coated praises

The regrets I carry

The truths everyday I bury

The unshared fear

And all those footsteps

That brought me here

Were they all mine?

Or am I just a still tree

Supporting a climbing vine?

Would I be somewhere else

Having picked the other choice

Or is it where I belong

To both rise and fall with rejoice

Are all the weights mine to carry

And all the ensues towards glory

Was I ever in charge

Is it the destination

Or there still are paths I need to barge

I look at infinity

I look at the stars

The travellers from the past

Someday maybe I would be joining them

Travelling into the future

Searching my answers.
