TODAY MINUS FARADAY =STONE AGE

My heart soars up in joy on hearing this name - Faraday

How I wish he could re-visit the earth, at least for a day.

Will not he wonder and appreciate the gigantic machinery here all around

How strange could that feeling be, to see his own work make progress abound.

Humble beginnings could never shatter the dreams of this young lad,

Who laid the foundation for a vast ' Electrical Empire'- the one that glorifies his fad.

Impressed by and with Sir. H.Davy - like an African slave, he did research;

The 'game of fame' did least bother him while he delved into the nature's search.

The revolutionaries called 'Electricity' and ' Magnetism' were ever his good friends,

While they stay on here progressed, he bade them adieu to live in them eternally thence.
