Always makes demands on time

Time management skills

Never learnt to master well

Dilemma face everyday

Both always at war

To settle many old scores

No one wins hands down

Some compromises are drawn

To balance the tilting scales

Times marches ahead

Says cannot be made to wait

Writing intervenes

Armed with explosives from mind

Ready to take head on fight

Clash of the titans

Have had to face all my life

Struggling to please both

End up writing in the loo

Composing doing business

I write in my sleep

I write stirring pans, karai

I write while eating

All in the mind, all the time

Truce called between parties
