Till Your Final Breath
Till Your Final Breath
I wish to be your dainty spring,
A well watered garden with colorful flowers,
Blossoming rosy buds and dreamy lushly grass,
Mint winds and warbling sparrows-
Under the hushed lavender pale blue sky.
But Dearest, the spring would wane away,
And autumn will cloud your vision,
All my beauty will be stripped away,
And I will be bare before you;
My sins, failures and fears,
Will shine like the broad daylight
And you will resist it's warmth.
But Dearest, love the old maid,
As you did the young bride.
I beseech you my Beloved,
Place me like a seal on your heart,
And drink from my cistern,
Rest in my gentle arms,
And I will sing for you.
Oh Dearest! Pledge the vow,
Love me till your final breath.
