Through The Mountains
Through The Mountains
I scream, repeatedly. As I scout my way through these woods
Every last hope I had, died before I even saw a big thorn Pierce my heart
As the sun sets for a bloody moon to rise
I sneak passed a cub wolf hunting down a prey almost of human size
When I came to realize
Hours passed after night was born
I thought of sounding a horn, the moon was bloodthirsty and I could hear it groan
I never wanted to stop running, my legs couldn't keep me going, I was given a quick rest
In pain I was, still, I wanted to keep going
I couldn't sit, relax and figure out the cause of the havoc
Nothing crossed my mind because thinking is another something off my mind.
