This Morning Will Come Again…

When we are purged of this infliction,

When we have paid our dues to mother nature,

When we realise our obligations to benevolent Earth,

This morning will come again.

When we learn compassion,

When we learn tolerance to other faiths,

When we learn that to be human is to be humane,

This morning will come again!

When we learn we are mere mortals and not God,

When we learn material gains are not all,

When we learn to be humble of our wealth,

This morning will come again! 

When we learn that service comes before self,

When we learn to give and not just to take,

When we learn to feed a hungry mouth,

This morning will come again!

When we learn the difference between empathy and sympathy,

When we learn to be kind to those in need,

When we learn that we owe our being to our parents,

This morning will come again!
