These Eyes

This shell

Oh so well

Am I human?

Inside the cocoon lays me

The real me

Waiting for the day

To pass into nothingness

 

I see the fiery globe

Out of the green water rise

Into the vast horizon it sprays

The rays that plays with minds

Oh so divine

Or so divine?

 

Revealed the horror is at night

Glimmer of tomorrows

Millions and trillions of sorrow

Beneath the sheath of time

I see

But at night

Hidden what if?

Remains blind

 

I saw the trees tremble

And winds rumble

In the woodlands of human emotions

Seduction, seclusion

In the heart of night’s confusion
