Dark Desire

Dark Desire

145

It was a bark or a spark nobody ever knew

The scars of the forgotten past steadily grew

Haunted they were and then some more askew

As for the lady, and wasn't she treading higher

Her dignity, every day washing ashore

Her placid persona, evidently abhorred

Her lust creeping up, and then some more

For it was perfectly juxtaposed with her dark empire

The empire of dark serene

For it was beloved, and so it was seen

Printing out of the human-machine

Hiding the lust within the dark desire

But such it is and so it must go

For nobody escapes the eternal flow

We are born, therefore must glow

And spread out the flame and the fire
