The 25th Hour
The 25th Hour
Many a moon flew away
I just saw them fly
As I stood still
But time still went by
Witnessed the flame
Flame of desire for centuries
With the hope of turning colder
But it just grew red hot
Now we’re in an inferno
Burning in our own selfish desire
Step out; step in
The 25th hour
We’re cursed with immortality
Choked by the flood of thoughts
Drowning in a labyrinth of greed
We won’t reach the suffice
Alas the suffering multiplies
Still wishful to survive
Wait for the clock to strike
The 25th hour
In those curious adventures of ours,
We’ve scarred our home
Ravaged the beauty and barred our hope
Now, life, I need no more
Let the human clock strike, the 25th hour!
