The Unanswered Questions
Dear God
At times I believe
That you choose to stay
Safe in your heaven
And your are never
Omnipresent.
You may label it as
My petty allegation
But while saying so
I have my own reasons.
The questions echo persistently
But dear God
Your silence is deafening!
I look up to You
For answers
But all I get is
Complete despair
Your silence is pushing the world
To an indefinite disaster.
Why did you turn blind
When the modesty of a woman
Is brutally outraged!
Where do you disappear
When someone plays
Foul and unfair?
How can you hide,
When a girl succumbs
In her mother's womb
Where it was supposed to survive.
Why are you no longer benevolent?
Why do you let your own creations
Wither away in sufferings and pain.
The questions echo
Again and again
And all my efforts
Go down the drain.
My crusade to get an answer
Get silenced and
The questions
Remain unanswered.
