The Vision
The Vision
The moment rains went away
The sky was clear like a blue sapphire.
She sat there and stared above
The rain from her eyes had ceased as well
Clearing her vision after long.
What she thought love, was his pure lust
What soothed her like a cold pool
Turned out to be a hopeless mirage.
She pined for his beloved
Soon she realised her plight
In search for true love
She ran behind the shadows
She wanted to live every moment
Now she was dying within every second.
As her tears left their abode
She decided to let her past go
So that she could go with the flow.
As her vision cleared,
She understood the true meaning of love
Love does not captivate, it sets free.
She thanked Heaven and breathed a sigh
She walked with her head held high.
