We all have the three monkeys
Sitting inside us
What to do, what not to do
That's what they try to tell us
The first one says
It's not gonna listen
To what others say
To how people judge you
Every night and day
The second one says
It's not gonna see
The bad or worst in people
Or all the negativity
The third one says
It's not gonna say
Anything harsh or rude
To be quiet sometimes Is actually quite okay
These three monkeys
Are sort of my best friends
They help me pull through
Even though I feel its the end
I shall keep them close
As long as I am alive
To guide me when the going gets tough
And to help me survive
