The Tale Of A Night
The Tale Of A Night
One night while deep in slumber
Heard a thud a loud one, I remember
Afraid in the dark, thinking about what it might be.
Searched a light for what wonders to see?
Somehow I gathered the strength to stand
Searched for a candle with a wavering hand
Passed the hallway scared and slowly
To see my backdoor shine brightly
Perplexed and shocked, what was happening?
Was Walking towards the door without blinking
Touched the doorknob with my shivering hand
Something pulled me through as I slightly bent
Shocked and Mesmerised I was as I opened my eyes
Oh! Such a beautiful sight in one glance it took my sighs
I was standing in a mountain too beautiful to be true
The voice of breeze was whispering a story as it blew
The flowers were dancing carefree in glee
They were smiling when they saw me
Fragments and essence they gifted me
With advice to love and to be free
Slowly and steadily, through A garden I passed by
Suddenly I saw a tree calling, made me mystify
Seeds and then fruits, he gifted me twice
With advice to be kind and wise
Next, I explored near the humming waterfall
Perplexed I was by the sweet melodies of her call
She gifted me melody and cadence
With advice to be creative and patient
Bidding my goodbyes to all at the wonderland
Carrying their gifts and advice in hand
Slowly walking back through the shinning door
Went back to sleep satisfied and happy more than evermore.
