The Stiff Upper Lip

Exhausted of hiding the feeling

And then hiding the exhaustion,

Can't you fathom it yourself?

Saving some awkward confrontation.

I'm faulted for being a good pal,

So "yolo", be a bully.

A timid cat is still a felidea,

You know that deep within!

You might have gotten them all in your favour,

Yet keeping a stiff upper lip

That is just what I did!

These words may hit you hard-

If you've ever been on the same route.

But, it will hit you harder-

When you know that you are the one I'm talking about.
