The Second Splash

The first wave was gone

Unexpectedly.

Again people were going lethargic for the rules

Unexpectedly.

Now we were waiting to see

A major rise.

That may have even left the people in

Greater Surprise.

But no;

We won’t listen.

The rules and regulations,

To our minds

We won’t fasten

So,

Go ahead and die.

Everyone is busy,

Go to the hospital beds and lie.

These people will never

Listen; nor do we follow.

The rules and regulations of COVID,

Which don’t let the virus to,

Make us hollow.
