Are the order of the day.

God men, businessmen,

Politicians and bankers too,

Join the league

To siphon money

In thousands of crores.

And then disappear

To havens abroad

Out of the reach

Of law and liability. 

The government wakes up

Only when a whistle blows.

While the country’s backbone

The humble hardworking farmer

Unable to pay back the loans

Of few thousands or more

Is harassed and humiliated

Until he hangs

From the noose

Leaving this world

That has no respect

For the hand that feeds

But let go scott free

The minds that master

The scams.
