The Rainy Day
The Rainy Day
Once it was a Summer Day
And the shower started
The sun hide somewhere
the clouds covered the sky
Strikes of thunders and lightning
Scared me.
Children and adults too came out
Enjoying the rains
Splashing and floating boats
In the small water logs
Me too thought to move out
Mumma didn’t let me go.
Sat lonely aside in the room
Looking out through the window
Trees shaking heavily
As like wind dancing
After a while mumma allowed
Move out running through the gate
It wasn’t too late.
Played football with friends
As it rains and rains
As the rain stops
Our plan flops
Came back home
Shaking and shivering in cold
Sitting at the balcony
With hot sips of coffee
Rainbow seems glowing
The rain and mumma makes me happy .
