The Passing Of Time

The Passing Of Time

Time, like a river, flows on and on,

Its current unstoppable, forever gone.

It takes with it our memories and dreams,

And leaves us with moments, or so it seems.

The years slip by, like grains of sand,

And we struggle to hold onto them with our hand.

But time waits for no one, it marches on,

And we're left with the memories, long gone.

The beauty of youth, the thrill of first love,

The joys of life, sent from above.

All fade away, as time passes by,

Leaving us with the echoes of a distant cry.

But time is not just a thief in the night,

It's also a friend, that brings us light.

It teaches us lessons, and helps us grow,

And guides us to the path we need to go.

So let us embrace time, with open hearts,

And cherish each moment, before it departs.

For time is a gift, to be treasured and kept,

A precious reminder, of the life we have met.
