The orifice in your heart

That I discovered

Once I found me 

In you

Did I see,

The war among angels and fiends

Ones with sparkling sharp swords

And the others with blunt words of wisdom

All they did was fought in the dark for light 

So they could overpower each other's might.

Ferociously did they defeat each other

That no one could taste the triumph

But in the process

They taught me, 

To love you more vehemently

Because life can take turns

Twisting victories into defeats

Infatuation into love 

And Love into aversion
