In the silence of night

Asked the moon

"Why do you see me daily?"

Replied did I

Coz I wanna shine bright

Said the moon then

"But this is not my light!"


To which I responded

That's why you're soothing

The moon then affirmed

"But I shine only at night"

To this with a smile I replied

That's when you need the insight
