Abstract

My Village:- Untold Memory

My Village:- Untold Memory

1 min 11.9K 1 min 11.9K

With the passage of time.........

Today I am a denizen of the city

Leading a life with status, crowd, and rush

Still frequent flashes of the memories

In the blink of eyes have forced me

To reveal the pristine beauty of my tiny hut

Lying in my small village with lush greenery

The age-old banyan tree as a supporter

With its soothing breeze and the rustling sound

And chirping of birds among its branches

Used to give a stunning natural sight

The flying of dust having melodious mood

And the playing of fish in our small pond

All the recollections are coming and going

But I am unable to capture them forever.

When I see the four-wheelers

Again reflection of that memories

My father's bicycle and our boat

And my running with a stick after a tyre

I also miss my simpleton villagers

Their deception free love and emotions

The yellow mustard field dotted with flowers used to drag my attention to them

Crashing sound of the stream

While gushing down from heights

Was the persistent music for me

Everything I find today in city and profusion

But I shed tears recognizing their absence.
