Hidden Humanism

Wherever I try to forge my path,

The steepness of the journey rips my soul apart.

Darkness so blinding; attacking my conscience,

Wicked brains tirelessly conspire.

My grievous heart breathes and shrieks with agony,

Uncountable grudges, complaints fall down the line.

The prevailing conditions, rendering all helpless,

Hardships have surrounded the light of hope.

I tend to sit alone, to reflect upon the situation,

Gathering enough courage and wish to be a helper.

Oh, my master, the almighty! You are the creator and the destroyer,

But the universe is in dire need; guide the deviated ones.

When fear begins to rule, the heart starts to race,

Only you have got the generosity to fulfill humanity's core with grace.

We have committed sins against nature and exploited your creations,

Stricken with realization, we seek your forgiveness.

If you grab our hands and merely indicate the lost minds,

We cross on our hearts to abide and blossom with nature's prize.

It is high time; breaking the laws of harmony,

Oh God, we lay at your mercy!

These swords have mutilated the lands and its people,

But in your eyes, we stand equal and unified.

On the grounds of humanity and tranquillity,

Regrets and apologies hit us deeply.

At the end of the day, love serves as our identity,

Words hit harder than stones, tend to choose them wisely.

Before gearing yourself up to lift fingers and playing the 'blame-game',

Take a look at yourself and improvise; have some shame!

Existence is defined by compassion and care,

The torment is more than enough to bear!

So, stand by each other's side; don't turn away,

Heroism lies in facing what life has to offer.

I can't see any good in our efforts to ignore those faces and phases.

Learn to be grateful and pass on the fervor without any delay...
