The Man Who Loved Me Right

The Man Who Loved Me Right

2 mins
65

I walked through halls of work and fate,

A world of rush, a clock-bound state.

But there he stood, so calm, so tall,

An angel there to break my fall.

No storm could shake his steady grace,

No worry lined his handsome face.

His voice, a whisper, warm and low,

Could turn my panic into glow.

He saw the weight I tried to hide,

The past that kept me locked inside.

Yet every tear, each trembling sigh,

He caught before it left my eye.

His touch was rare but burned so deep,

A silent vow my heart could keep.

A brush of hands, a fleeting graze,

Set my whole world alight in blaze.

And oh, that blush, that nervous stare,

Whenever I was standing there.

His lips would part, his breath would hitch,

A man so strong—yet lost his grip.

He’d pull my chair, he'd hold the door,

Make me feel I was adored.

A simple act, a tender phrase,

Turned ordinary into praise.

No matter how the tempers flew,

Or chaos in the deadlines grew,

He stayed unshaken, calm, composed,

A presence like the moonlight glows.

And when the past would haunt my mind,

He’d wrap his arms, so warm, so kind.

His whispers melted all my fears,

He kissed away the wasted years.

Those piercing eyes, that sexy grin,

Would pull me back, would draw me in.

No need for words, no need for space,

Just him—my home, my safest place.

He loved me right, he loved me true,

In every shade, in every hue.

Not just in fire, not just in touch,

But in the way he cared so much.

So here I stand, forever his,

A love so rare, so real, so bliss.

Not fate, nor time, nor days ahead,

Could change the way our hearts were wed.
