Shivratri’s Light: The Path Within

Shivratri’s Light: The Path Within

On Shivratri’s night, so dark yet bright,Echoes the chant, a sacred sight. Not just an idol, stone or clay,Shiva’s truth lights up the way.

The lingam stands, a symbol grand,Of endless time, the cosmic hand. Not bound by form, nor space nor name,Beyond all shapes, yet still the same.

He’s not just tales of ash and dance,But wisdom deep, a soul’s expanse.A silent force, a roaring storm,Destruction fierce, yet love so warm.

The trident speaks of paths but three—Past, future, and what must be.Yet Shiva walks where time dissolves,Where self is found, where doubt resolves.

Meditate not on stone alone,But on the truth your heart has known. In every breath, in every strife,Shiva calls—"Awake to life!"

Not in temples, not in prayer,But in the depths, He waits you there. To break the chains, to stand up tall,To find the One within us all.

So on this night, let voices rise,Not just to gods beyond the skies,But to the Self, so vast, so free,For Shiva is You—and You are He.
