The Man in the Ocean
The Man in the Ocean
Over the hills, across the ocean tides
Leaves a man who has no sights
And when you speak to him you speak twice
And when he holds things he holds tight
There are sharks in the ocean to his right
And there are snake roaming at midnight
The only source of threat to the ocean side
A threat that could put a cease to his life
People come about asking questions like
"Why not somewhere else under the sky"
Goes the one answer to the dozens of whys
Is that "I will never forsake what is mine"
"But already you have forsaken your eyes"
"How people think so gullible" he'd reply
"My eyes went ahead before me in time
Wouldn't make me go down without a fight"
