Horror Tragedy Action

The Last Say

The Last Say

Time has changed;

but not for the world

Selfish actions, make

each nation bold.

With abated breath

their mouths water

Each wants a share

of the forbidden fruit,

Left to wonder,

their desire is here to stay

Covid-19 in rampage

acts of war as action,

Does the devil’s sinful leap

grow with lust?

Can an apple a day

keep one fit and gay,

Alas! The Chinese

‘expansionist mindset’

Draws mankind

in an impending stalemate,

...can one ever know?

For they choke, kill

bring economic doom,

It is not who ordered the apple

but a desire that prevents

nations to share resources, not lead

but exploit the gullible for wealth,

Before it was a snake

now a vilified dragon

In sinful action

unabated greed to fulfil,

Chinese there

sit at parleys to deceive

inbred knowledge

breathlessly insane,

Never to share, just

walk away with the apple;

A Confused world thinks they have hope

Atheists blame God to get the last say!
