The Kingdom Of Misery

Once there was a King so greedy, 

He had no value for money, 

He emptied all the treasury, 

He put the entire country in misery. 

Prices rose rapidly, 

Everyone was left hungry, 

Drought stuck early, 

Essentials were in scarcity. 

It affected the economy, 

Unemployment stuck every family, but the king showed no mercy, 

He continued to live in luxury. 

People could no longer live in penury, 

They turned revolutionary, 

This brought a major change in history, 

The kingdom changed into a democracy, 

The people now lived happily!
