The Heavenly Mead
The Heavenly Mead
Oh, morning sky, thou doth flaunt thy vermillion hue!
Thy radiant beam doth reach the earth in seconds a few!
Casting thy gleam upon the vast sea,
Thou bringeth to me, a new morning,
To welcome each day anew.
Bedazzling the millions of eyes
That wake up early, and view
Thy divine golden vibrance doth lighten up every rock,
Every particle, every gentle dew;
Like a naïve baby under thy spell, I stand for long,
With awestruck mind,
and feet frozen, as if stuck with glue-
Watching the heavenly bright amber-coloured mead being poured,
Upon the sea, like a goblet of silver-
All inviting me with an intoxicating cue.
The void in me, that hath grown in time,
For the unfulfilled desire,
Is flooded with this enchanting view.
That is when nature doth take me into thy charm,
Unwinding me,
Scrapping off my earthy noose.
