The Emotional Dilemma

Along with a group of travelers

Nanded Gurudwara was visited,

Went inside the shrine, prayed,

Luckily attended the Arati rituals                 

Happened to meet a Sardarji

On the way out, embraced

Him sobbing, shedding tears

Before the followers of Guru Nanakaji

While patting Sardarjin asked

“Bhai why are you weeping ?”

“I have visited, temples, Dargahs, Churches,

But never became so emotional,”

Still sobbing he said

“Are you happy or afraid?”

“I am quite happy,”

Sardarji confirmed putting

Hand on his heart,

“Bhai you are lucky,

He (Guru Nanakji) has

Entered into your heart”

Silently watching the spectacles,

Folding hands to the onlookers

His beloved wife explained

“Please don’t worry

To be always emotional,

He is never sorry”
