THE CORONA OUTBREAK

The whole world was struck by a disease,

Which was set to demolish all the earth's peace,

Which was so dreadful and devastating,

To have the whole earth hesitating,

To face this terrifying and unexpected danger, 

Which came to us like a new stranger, 

Which was surely not at all desirous,

But was called the corona virus

When the world was ready, to improvise

This outbreak came in, to everyone's surprise,

Although, its beginning was not at all promising,

But the way it spread, was very astonishing

The virus expanded, like a never ending fire,

Bound to kill people like a grisly vampire

With every drop of cough and sneeze,

It polluted the pure and refreshing breeze,

Becoming free to find a new host,

In whom, the virus had all its symptoms disclosed,

By overpowering, man's immune system

It multiplied itself, using all its wisdom

Like this it created a great commotion,

From country to country, and across the ocean

Doctors and nurses, worked day and night,

To win this battle, over corona fight,

People decided, to close the doors,

To protect themselves, from the covid spores, 

Every road and street got empty,

With ban on the vehicles entry,

The whole world was at a stop, 

Waiting to see, the covid cases drop,

Every person was in despise,

And praying to God, for Covid 19 demise

How long this battle is going to run?

Was the question of people, who wanted to have fun

But we had to keep, our hopes high,

And wait to take, a deep sigh,

To hear the news, of this contagion end,

And to have this optimistic message, to the world sent

The wait was finally rewarded with covid vaccine discovery,

Which prevented disease and assured of patients recovery

It gave the hope of having, a realistic and brightful, future blend

With an effort to continue, with this happy trend.
