The Attempt To Escape Mistakes Only Breeds More Of Them

When you wish to see to certain things,

Yet time and time again you're denied,

Very few understand the frustration this brings,

Some even blame it on your own pride.

When you have made a mistake,

It is only fitting that you set things right,

Yet the action those around are inclined to take,

Is instead to encourage those at fault to take flight.

I speak from experience and can thus say,

The only path for them you'll pave,

Is one wrought with the foolish idea to run away,

As they've been made to believe that's safe.

One day however they're going to find,

That there aren't any around to set things right,

What then do you think will come to mind?

They'll realize they were never prepared to fight.

How can you not see the damage this can attract?

Believe it or not, you're not always gonna be around,

When you encourage them to never act,

Then on a road of destruction, they will be forever bound.
