Spring In January

Ever heard of flowers blooming in January,

Or butterflies and bees buzzing for nectar?

For this winter month freezes all,

When you’d run around to get warmth in some alcohol!

But when its only about good days,

And universe decides to shower its mercy,

Even the nature turns its cycle upside down,

By cheering the coldest season with enticing spring around!

So, if that’s what you’ve begun to feel,

Where moon and stars no more remain the delight,

Entitling someone else to become your paradise!

This is what the world has termed as love,

Which blindfolds all the senses,

By swirling and popping butterflies in the stomach,

With ardor and compassion seeming on each hummock!

That is when life sounds alike melodious rhymes,

And just that special person becomes the only elation,

A single glance of whom makes up your day,

Unsettling the peaceful nights by making your dreams sway!

When its only love in the air,

Boggling minds and slaying hearts,

No winters and summers would do their magic on you,

For the spring had already taken its brightest hue!
