Sometimes I wish
Sometimes I wish
Sometimes I wish to do nothing
But stare at the skies blankly
And none to say it's idiotic
To stare for long;
Sometimes I wish to lie flat on my bed
And dream of all the beautiful things
And none to call it idleness;
Sometimes I wish to laugh
At the top of my pitch till my belly hurts
And none to says it's a wrong mannerism;
Sometimes I wish to hug
The homeless down the street
As tight as his emotions allow
And none to call it insanity;
Sometimes I want to travel round the globe
None to check my account balance;
Sometimes I wish to be
In the midst of the desirable nature
And not be afraid of being lost;
Sometimes I wish time could stop
Just for a few moment
So that for those few moments
I can live without the fear of death;
Sometimes I wish to forget all the mistakes
And for once live like a queen with no worries.
