Smile

Her glaze fixed on the rain,

And tears dripping down her eyes;

Her heart filled with much of a pain,

Her greatest strength she failed to realise.

Yes, it was her smile,

The greatest strength with her;

Also her confidence all this while,

And her courage which made her superior.

It was difficult for her,

She had faced a lot of pain.

She had once already failed;

She was afraid to try again.

But she smiled and took a shot;

And excelled very well.

She didn't let go of her chance,

And got herself a story to tell.
