Torn

I trusted some people with all my heart

And all they did was tear me apart

They hurt my feelings and snatched my glow

My mind kept telling me to unbind and let go

And yet I said to myself to give it some time

And let it rest

They must’ve reacted like that

For they weren’t at their best

And after a while,

When the time had gone;

It happened again,

I was left torn.

The closest to me,

 My heart - they have broken;

This is my story, 

It won’t be left unspoken.
