Discovering Happiness Together

Perhaps I've stumbled upon the truth,

That happiness can be found in unexpected places uncouth,

With someone who can inspire and renew,

And guide me on a journey of self-discovery anew.

Her eyes so full of wonder and grace,

Posing questions I had no answer to face,

Together we set out on a quest,

To find happiness, with no idea of what's best.

As we embarked on our introspective sojourn,

A great idea to me it was never borne,

But she believed, and I soon began to see,

That the path to happiness starts with me.

Now, with smiles on our faces and different in essence,

We found our lost happiness, with no pretense,

In our own way, it didn't matter,

For what matters most is us, and our joyous chatter.

So let us cherish this newfound bliss,

And never again take it for granted or dismiss,

For we matter, our happiness and well-being,

Are the most precious gifts we can be freeing.
