I Wonder
I Wonder
I wonder
Why I couldn't feel like myself again
She seems lost somewhere even on sunny days
Her shadow collides with a broken window
Of a girl,
I used to be
A story of a fallen angel twisted as a daydream.
She whispers in the air before it vanishes away with muffled sounds
She laughs, "All alive is to be my dream"
I whisper back in scribbles, she couldn't see.
I sing in voice, she doesn't understand
And I sat next to her
Though it's a snowy track.
I close my eyes to hear her again
Winter lights melt, and she dwells apart.
And in the scent of frozen candles,
She tainted my heart.
Old Chapel and I
Celebrate her as a dying flame.
A portrait of a fallen angel, perishing in a conspiracy of faith.
I sat in dept wondering
Things we lost in the fire
Since she left, snow has been all night showers.
Until it rains, steam sways away
And I lay dripping in her flame...
